Seven years ago, a small and frail puppy approached my parent's fence on the land where I grew up. Without hesitation, I ran to her, opened our gate, and scooped her up in my arms. That day, I made a new life-long best friend. Cheeba has been my partner in crime through my hardest times and has seen me face battles no person ever should.
